TGIF is right! I mean, if I had one more day in THIS week, I would have to join Shelly Long in that mental institution soon!

For the third time this month I have found a product that I’d purchased LESS THAN 30 DAYS AGO being sold for $50-$75 LESS than what I paid for it!

Now, I don’t know what planet you live on, but in my world, when you shop with NAME BRANDS (read that “known gurus”), if they offer something for less than what you paid within say, 30 days, they issue you a refund for the difference on the spot. Shouldn’t the same hold true in the guru’s world as well?

I don’t know how you feel, and maybe it’s happened to you as well, but I’m getting a bit weary of this. Not only have “they” set themselves up for a degradation of reputation (IMHO), but they’re also setting a dangerous precedent in the IM marketing world.

Think about it. WHY would folks buy at “today’s price” (you know, that “special” price that has been crossed out three times already) when they could just wait until it goes “on sale” soon? Heck, it takes me 3 and 4 weeks sometimes to even get around to opening some of the things I purchase!

So, is this what we have to look forward to in 2007? A product doesn’t sell well at ‘X’ dollars (or the guru doesn’t make enough money), so rather than honor that “one off” price or that “special pre-launch” pricing, we’ll see how many buy at one price, then REDUCE it and sell it to even more the second time around on that “one-off”, “special price”! Phooey, I say!

I will tell you this. You will NOT see US doing that. If we feel the need to reduce prices within a 2 month period, then we will take the time to at least offer the difference back to those that paid the higher amount! Which is more fair here?

We’ve already learned that most “one^time^offers” (OTOs) aren’t always just “one chance” and “only 50 sold” without the corresponding software to control it, means “when I decide to quit” most of the time! Ok, not ALL of the time, but…you get the idea, right?
“They say” things come in threes, so the second thing that makes me mad as hell is having something shut down with NO WARNING whatsoever. PayPal has done it to me, not once, but three times, and now a well-known hosting company has done the same thing! I awoke this morning to find out that virtually all our our retail sites had been suspended, with no courtesy of a notice whatsoever.

So, why was that you ask? (or maybe you could care less). Recently, we had three of our credit cards compromised and the bank(s) luckily caught the attempts that someone was trying to guess at our expiration dates and shut the cards down immediately. THAT I was happy about , but of course, I then had to have those replaced. This hosting just happened to be on one of the closed cards.

Ok, so I accept responsibility for that, and would have gladly replaced the card number upon notice (IN FACT, we have TWO accounts with these folks, and they DID notify me on one – so why not the other?) I did a complete search thru emails and not one time were we notified. Phooey, I say!
…and the third? Well, I’m sure I’ve bored you enough by now, so I will save that one (although it IS important and has to do with affiliate commission payments, or lack thereof! Phooey, I say!) …but I’ve taken enough of your time here, so let’s move on for now!
