I hope this finds everyone had a great weekend. I know you are in a hurry to get your week going, so I’ll try to say everything quick!

After a busy week, I was going thru “real” snail mail on Saturday and came across this overstuffed envelope from Getty Images.

An advertisement, right?

Tossed aside till all else was read, I opened this fat envelope to find a nice “demand” letter for $1200 for an ‘unlicensed image’.Â

Still not reading so closely, it proceeded to explain the consequences I was facing, where the image was (on an OLD adsense site, no less), and then directed me to not only take the image down, but STILL pay the $1200, regardless! Do Not Pass Go…

Well, NOW the darn thing I almost pitched for junk mail, now had my full attention!

I’ll not expound on it much more here, but there is a lesson to be learned for all of us…and it could be a very expensive lesson if we don’t learn it fast and act on it quickly!

I want you to know more about all of this, so I’ll be addressing the matter with the attorneys today and will continue my plight and fight at http://blog.kathelucas.com as it develops. You won’t want to miss the outcome, I’m sure!
